Dr. Robert Friedman, Holistic Physician, Author

Dr. Robert Friedman is a holistic physician and creator of a new paradigm of healing called The Virtual Body Scan. He has practiced Holistic Medicine for twenty-four years.  He attended Syracuse University, University of New Mexico and also studied in Florence, Italy. He is licensed and board certified in Florida and New Mexico.

For fifteen years he was director of The Pain Relief Clinic in Santa Fe and Albuquerque, New Mexico as well as in Florida. He was part of a family practice clinic in New Mexico as well as a group pain management clinic in Sarasota, Florida. He lectured and served as a clinic advisor at the International College of Chinese Medicine, Santa Fe, New Mexico and also lectured at the University of New Mexico. He was a guest lecturer and healthcare provider in Trinidad and Tobago. Recently, Dr. Friedman was invited by Jack Canfield, creator of the Chicken Soup for the Soul books, to present his work to his Platinum Group in Santa Barbara, California.

Dr. Friedman was a health care provider for the following companies: Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Prudential, Mutual of Omaha, QualMed, Lovelace Hospital and St. Joseph’s Rehabilitation Hospital.

He has appeared on local affiliates for NBC, ABC and CBS television news programs.

He has also appeared as a guest on Dr. Carol Roberts’s health talk radio program on WMSF, Tampa, Florida, Dr. Lenore’s health talk radio program, KPFA in Berkeley, California, Cynthia Hess’s talk radio show, Albuquerque, New Mexico, Talk Radio 1190AM, Orlando, Florida, For Your Health Radio, Naples, Florida, Health Radio, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and has appeared on the Caribbean television version of Oprah in Trinidad, West Indies.

Dr. Friedman is presently practicing a new healing system, The Virtual Body Scan with patients from across the United States, Caribbean, Europe and Australia. He has written a new book called Intuitive Power Healing: The Science of Healing.  He also has created a series of six CD’s: healing sounds in the Tibetan language called Dr. Robert’s Intuitive Healing Sounds. He presents workshops across the United States in support of his healing methods with demonstrations and teaching instructions.
